VPOD: Pearls of Wisdom

The pearl is often referred to as "the queen of gems" and has been prized throughout history. In fact, many cultures imbue the pearl with magical powers that provide everything from protection to love to money. And oil isn't the only natural resource found in the Persian Gulf--most natural pearls are found there as well.

Well, at least those that aren't residing on today's VPOD! This vintage 1940s embroidered evening clutch has way too many pearls to count and the little gems all add up to create an elegant and chic little bag.

It's a magnificent find for a pearl-loving' vintage fashionista!
