VPOD: Heavens to Betsey

Someone once said that wearing a Betsey Johnson dress is "like putting on a good mood." And who doesn't want to do that?

So often I hear woman complain that they don't know how to dress in vintage without looking old. But "old" clothes don't necessarily mean outdated clothes. For instance, most of Betsey Johnson's designs, regardless of the decade, are hip and young. After all, she was the American counterpart to Mary Quant's Youthquake Movement in Great Britain in the 1960s--and Betsey has yet to lose her mojo.

Just check out today's VPOD which features a 1980s Betsey Johnson knit jersey dress with leg o' mutton sleeves, an asymmetric dropped waist and her coveted Punk label.

It's comfy chic for a vintage fashionista!

Available at Woodland Farms Antiques.
